Network connectivity solutions
To get the best out of any hosted service, you need a fast, reliable connection to the internet. For basic services to a limited number of people, you may need nothing more than a standard broadband DSL connection. For an enterprise solution for thousands of people across multiple sites, something more robust will be required.
SIPCOM can deliver the complete range of connectivity options:
- PSTN – otherwise known as a traditional public service telephone network connection
- ISDN – or integrated services digital network, likely to be what you already use for your phone system if you have a traditional PBX
- DSL – the connection typically referred to as broadband. We can offer both ADSL (where download speeds exceed upload speeds) or SDSL (where you can upload as fast as you download) at speeds up to 20 Mbps
- FTTC – or fiber to the cabinet, the installation of a fiber optic connection to your nearest curb-side telephone cabinet. Unlike DSL, FTTC doesn’t rely on legacy copper wires and so is capable of far greater speeds
- MPLS – or multiprotocol label switching which offers greater flexibility in how you prioritize different types of data to get the optimum performance from your network
- SIP trunking – enabling you to connect traditional PBX systems to our hosted telephony service – learn more here
- T1 and T3 leased lines – a permanent ultra-high speed, high capacity connection primarily used for head office installations and data centers
